Richard D. "Maxie" Maxwell

Richard "Maxie" D. Maxwell, 64, of Fall River passed away Wednesday the 28th of April, 2010 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was born in Fall River and lived most of his life in Swansea. He was the son of the late John and Anita (LeBlanc) Maxwell of Fall River. He served as an electrician in the Navy and later worked for the IBEW Locals 437 and 223. He enjoyed playing cards, cookouts, relaxing by the pool, and going to the beach with his family. Survivors include his two daughters, Michelle L. Brito and her husband, Edward "Ted" of Dartmouth and Karen Chamberlain, of Foxboro; siblings, Denise Mason, and Debbie, Doreen, Wayne, Marc and John Bruce Maxwell all of Fall River; his former wife Noreen Medeiros of Somerset; his close cousin, Delores Bernier of Somerset, and several other cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was the brother of the late Kenneth and Roger Maxwell. Visitation, Saturday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral service at 7:00 PM. Cremation to follow.
