Richard J. Bourgeois

Richard J. Bourgeois, 75, of Rochester, formerly of Fall River and Swansea, beloved husband of Pauline (Silvia) Bourgeois, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018.

Born in Fall River, Richard was a 1961 graduate of Msgr. Prevost High School, where he starred for the varsity basketball team. He earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Roger Williams College, and worked as a program manager for many years. An avid sports fan, Richard spent several years coaching youth basketball and baseball in Swansea and was a fixture at many area high school sporting events. A proud grandfather known for his devotion to his family, he loved attending his grandchildren's athletic games and meets at every opportunity.



Along with his wife of 50 years, he will be dearly missed by his children, Richard Bourgeois, Stephen Bourgeois and his wife Tina, and Peter Bourgeois and his wife Amy; and grandchildren Matthew, Michael, Marc, Lea, James, David and Julia. He was the son of the late Fortunat and Juliette (Dalton) Bourgeois.
