Rev. Clement E. Dufour

Rev. Clement E. Dufour, 80, of Fall River, died Saturday, September 26, 2009. A Roman Catholic Priest, and graduate of Assumption College, Worcester, MA and St. John's Seminary, Brighton, MA, he was pastor of St. Michael Parish, Swansea, St. George Parish, Westport and Sacred Heart Parish, New Bedford. He enjoyed traveling and was a member of Club Richelieu and former Chaplain of the Knights of Columbus, New Bedford. He was the son of the late Gedeon and Albertine (Cote) Dufour; the brother of Roger P. Dufour (wife Anita) of Somerset, the late Paul A. Dufour (wife Denise) and the late Yvette Proulx (husband late Lionel) and the uncle of Anne Louise Attar (husband Henry), Roger Dufour (wife Patricia), Bertrand, Denis, Thomas and Matthew Proulx and the late Claire Forczyk. His concelebrated funeral mass will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM in St. Anne Church, Fall River. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. His body will be received in the church Tuesday at 4:00 PM, to lie in state and for visitation from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, with a wake service at 7:00 PM.
