Corona Virus (COVID-19)  precautions for funeral homes.

Governor Charlie Baker has issued an Executive Order of no gathering larger than 25 persons.  This will include visitations, funeral services and Funeral Masses.

The limit begins on Tuesday, March 17th.  There may be a wait to enter the building.

Rene P. "Frechie" Servant, 76, of Fall River, husband of Lorena (Medeiros) Servant, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020.

An Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War, he was stationed in Germany serving as a military police officer. He was a mechanic at the Newport Navy Base for many years and also was employed as a bartender. He played Santa Claus at various different places, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Besides his wife of 47 years, he leaves three children, Daniel M. Servant (wife Elizabeth), David M. Servant (wife Trisha) and Jennifer Dias (husband Michael); five grandchildren, Daniel M. Servant, Jr., Jaden Servant, Emily Servant, Makayla Dias and Maxim Dias and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Lesa Servant, brother of the late Fleur-Ange Levesque and Henri A. Servant and the son of the late Henri and Alma (Dutil) Servant.

A visitation will be held Saturday, March 21, 2020 from 12:30 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Cremation to follow.
