Rene P. Michaud

Rene P. Michaud, 93, of Swansea, formerly of Fall River, husband of the late Edna I. (Roy) Michaud, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017.

He was employed by Wilbur B. Driver Co., Newark, NJ for 20 years and by Coca Cola, Fall River for 13 years. He was a member of the Father Joseph Boehr Council and the Father Donahue Assembly, Knights of Columbus and the Coca Cola Retirees Club.

He leaves two daughters, Janine Bartle (late husband Gerald) of Fall River and Nancy Archambault and her husband Ronald of Swansea; grandchildren, Jeff Archambault (Lindsay), Keith Bartle (Rebecca), Amy Bartle (Bob Lima) and Craig Bartle (Heather): great-grandchildren, Zackery Furtado and Savannah, Sophia, Charlie and Aaryn Bartle; siblings, Normand Michaud and Theresa Storz, both of NJ and nieces and nephews. He was the grandfather of the late Jason Archambault, the son of the late Patrick Michaud and Diana (Champagne) Michaud Tavares and the brother of the late Roger Michaud.

His funeral will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Dominic Church, Swansea, at 11:00 AM.

Visitation, Thursday morning prior to the funeral from 8:00 to 10:00 AM. Donations may be made to Somerset Ridge Center, 455 Brayton Ave., Somerset MA 02726.
