Raymond R. St.Germain

Raymond R. St.Germain, 89, of Kennedy St., Fall River, husband of Florice (Belanger) St.Germain, died Sunday, October 3, 2010. He was production manager for Elbe File and Binder, a Boston Mutual Life Insurance Co. agent, general manager of the former Edward's Motors, Westport and ticket agent for Bonanza Bus Lines, Providence, retiring in 1987. An Army veteran of WW II, First Lieutenant St.Germain was credited with saving the lives of 25 men, while serving with the Medical Administrative Corps of the 18th. Tank Battalion. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Tiverton. Besides his wife of 64 years, he leaves, 2 sisters, Lilianne Charland of New Hampshire and Cecile Dugal of Somerset; and many nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Arthur and Laura (Rousseau) St.Germain and the brother of the late Jeannette McGettigan, Paulette Delisle and J. R. Maurice St.Germain. His funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Trinity Church at 9:30 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Monday 5:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Assn., 20 Speen St., Framingham MA 01701.
