Raymond "Ray" Souza, 83, of Lazywood Lane, Tiverton, the former husband of Arlene Souza and Rita Otocki, died Monday, January 20, 2014. A Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean War, he was employed by Northrup Grumman, California, having played a vital role in their Apollo Program. An avid gardener, he also enjoyed hunting and target practice and was a member of the Tiverton Rod and Gun Club. He leaves 4 children, Kandice Seikel (husband Ron) of Oklahoma, Sheryl Cayton (husband Dan) of Oregon, Raelene Wentz (husband Jamie) of Florida and Raymond "Bruce" Souza (wife Lisa) of California; grandchildren, April, Rona, Kathleen, Jalene and Michelle; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Gilbert and David Souza, both of Fall River and Ronald Souza of Florida and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Frank and Margaret (Rego) Souza and the brother of the late Mary Ferreira, Evelyn Raymondo, Alice Korzeniowski and Leonora Chartier. His funeral will be held Friday at 8:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Madeleine Sophie Church, Tiverton at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Visitation, Thursday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
