Raymond Charles "Ray" Rioux, 85, of 2446 Highland Ave., Fall River, formerly of Borden Place West, 181 South Main St. Fall River, died Thursday, February 2, 2006 at Catholic Memorial Home, Fall River, after a long illness. He was the husband of the late Mary "Mae" (Grogan) Rioux. A lifelong resident of Fall River, he was the son of the late Theophile and Alphonsine (Levesque) Rioux. He was employed by J & J Corrugated Box Co, Fall River. After his retirement there, he worked for Vic's Car Wash, Fall River. A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a member of the American Legion. He leaves 3 daughters, Paula Motta, Karen Rioux-Viveiros and Lori Rioux, all of Fall River; 3 grandchildren, Marc Viveiros, Melissa Rioux and Christy Rioux; 3 great-grandchildren, Chad Raymond Cote, Ashton Rioux and Brandon Rioux, and several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Michael Rioux and the brother of the late Rose Travassos, Lillian Turner, Eva Bruneau and William Rioux. Private arrangements are with the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 S. Main St. Fall River
