Raymond L. Morin

Raymond L. Morin, 87, of Judson St., Tiverton, husband of Cecile "Cis" (Lavault) Morin, died Sunday, September 18, 2011. An electrician, licensed in MA and RI, he was a De La Salle Academy graduate and a Navy veteran of WW II. He was President and Business Manager of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Past President of the Greater Fall River Building Trades Council, Past President of the Tiverton Lions Club, Life Member of the Knights of Columbus, Tiverton, Eucharistic Minister and Lifelong Member of Holy Ghost Parish and member of the American Legion. He served on the Tiverton Water Authority and was General Manager and Clerk of the North Tiverton Fire District Water Department. He leaves his wife of 62 years, nieces, nephews and his faithful pal "Brandy". He was the son of the late Louis and Georgianna (Martel) Morin and the brother of the late Louise Proulx, Vivian McConnell and Lucille Gregory. His funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Ghost Church, Tiverton, at 10:00 AM. Burial, Pocasset Hill Cemetery. Visitation, Wednesday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to Beacon Hospice, 182 No. Main St., Fall River MA 02720, Holy Ghost Parish, 311 Hooper St., Tiverton RI 02878, or Forever Paws, 300 Lynwood St., Fall River MA 02721 appreciated.
