Raymond G. Guilmette, Sr.

Raymond G. Guilmette, Sr., 80, of Fall River, husband of Shirley "Nana" (Hagan) Guilmette, entered into rest on Saturday, March 19, 2016. He worked as a glazier for many years and he and his wife operated Shirray Ceramics for 30 years. He served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard and was a member of the East End Sportsman's Club and enjoyed camping with the "Wild Goose" and "Mt. Hope" chapters. Besides his wife of 57 years, he leaves two children, Raymond G. "Fuzzy" Guilmette and his wife Susan and Linda "Foofa" Casavant and her husband Roger, all of Fall River; five grandchildren, Eric Guilmette (Courtney), Melissa Concepcion (Lenny, Jr.), Stephanie Costa (Kevin), Dr. Kimberly Casavant (Bryan Chaves) and Halie Casavant; six great-grandchildren, Mia and Ella Costa, Brady and Mason Guilmette, Kenlie Chaves and Hunter Concepcion; a sister, Yvonne Beaudry of Fall River and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late George and Lina (Gagne) Guillemette and the brother of the late Theresa Barboza and Henry Guillemette. His funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Holy Trinity Church at 9:30 a.m. Burial will take place in Notre Dame Cemetery, Stafford Rd. Fall River, MA. Visitation, Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
