Raymond J. Gauvin

September 23, 1921 — March 6, 2008

Raymond J. Gauvin, 88, of Birch St., Fall River, formerly of Columbia St., husband of the late Rose M. (Fortier) Gagne-Gauvin, died Thursday, March 6, 2008. An Army veteran of WW II, he was employed by the Quincy Shipyard and was past governor of the Loyal Order of Moose. He was the son of the late Joseph and Clara (Berube) Gauvin; the stepfather of Lydia Fernandes and Conrad Gagne, both of Fall River and the late Donald Gagne; the brother of Claire Connell-Lepage of Fall River, Lucille Rousseau of Swansea and the late Aline St. Germaine and Bernard and Bertrand Gauvin; the grandfather of Donat, Jackie and Matthew Gagne and also survived by nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be Saturday at 10:00 AM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation and flowers omitted.
