Raymond Desrosiers

Raymond Desrosiers, 86, of Tickle Rd., Westport, MA, formerly of Knight St., Fall River, husband of the late Irene (Gosselin) Desrosiers, died Thursday, February 3, 2011. An Army veteran of WW II, and 38 year employee of the Massachusetts Department of Public Works, he was a member of the Retired State, County, and Municipal Employees Assn., the Holy Name Society of Notre Dame Parish, and a former member of the Dover Club. Fall River. He leaves a son, Dennis R. Desrosiers and his wife Donna of Westport; 4 grandchildren, Justin Desrosiers (Kim), Danielle Desrosiers (Charlie), Adam Desrosiers (Kyla), and Heidi Desrosiers (Matt); 3 great-grandchildren, Abby, Lilly, and Lindsey ; and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Ovila and Dorilda (Gagne) Desrosiers and the brother of the late Donat, Conrad, and Romeo Desrosiers. His funeral will be held Saturday at 8:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Notre Dame Church, Fall River, at 9:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Friday 6:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
