Phyllis A. (Diniz) Moniz

Phyllis A. (Diniz) Moniz, 99, of East Providence, formerly of Fall River, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024, at home.

She was employed in the nursing profession and garment industry. Born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Alminda (Medeiros) Diniz.

She leaves her daughter and caregiver, Priscilla E. Pinto husband Alceu Pinto of East Providence; a son, Henry Moniz Jr., grandchildren, Matthew Moniz of RI, Silas Pinto of RI, Sandro Pinto of RI, Henry T.A. Moniz of California, Anthony Moniz of California, Michael Moniz of RI and Jonathan Moniz of Pennsylvania; several great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, several loving friends.

She was the sister of the late Franklin L. Diniz, Sr. Mary Alminda, RSM, Louis Cabral, Mary Pemberton, James Diniz, Antone Diniz, Manuel Diniz and Agnes Diniz.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 5, from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River.

Burial will be held at St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River.
