Philip J. Shaker

Philip J. Shaker, 81, of Amity St., Fall River, formerly of William St., died Thursday, January 5, 2006 at Southpointe Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center. A lifelong resident of Fall River, he was the son of the late Saleem and Malakey "Molly" (Khoury) Shaker. A Navy veteran of WW II, he operated the former Park Bowling Alleys, East Main St., many years ago. He was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. Survivors include 2 daughters, Laura DeCosta and Shelley Taillon, both of Rhode Island; a sister, Josephine A. "Zu" Saucier of Fall River and grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Rames Shaker. His funeral was private.
