Peter F. Mcgillick

Peter F. McGillick, 77 of Somerset, husband of 57 years of Jacqueline T. (Gagne) McGillick, entered into rest Monday, June 20, 2016.

He was employed by Frito Lay and Stop & Shop for many years and served in the Army for 23 years.

He was the father of Donna Hetzler, Steven McGillick (wife Sharon) and Christopher McGillick, all of Somerset and the late Diane L. McGillick; the grandfather of Joshua Hetzler (Michaela), Bethany Morales, Megan Ferreira, Mariah Keyes, Chad McGillick (Debra) and Daniel McGillick; the great-grandfather of Lorelie, Evan, Andreas and Gwenth Hetzler, Kassidy, Alexander and Marissa Morales, Benjamin Ridgway, Aubree and Allie Ferreira and Lucas, Lexiana and Sariyah McGillick; the brother of Margaret Fournier of Fall River and the late Francis McGillick and Rita Bourgeois; the son of the late Francis and Rose (Desrosiers) McGillick and also leaves nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held Saturday at 7:45 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Louis de France Church, Swansea, at 9:00 a.m. Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery.

Visitation, Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. Donations may be made to Beacon Hospice, 182 No. Main St., Fall River MA 02720.
