Pauline M. Boyle, 91, a dedicated educator, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, in Fall River.
She made a profound impact on the lives of many through her over 27 years of teaching special needs children in the Fall River Schools.
Pauline's commitment to education was underscored by her academic achievements, holding a Master's degree from Providence College, a Bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth and an Associate Degree from Bristol Community College. She accomplished all of this while raising her four sons with her husband and working full time. Her passion for teaching and her compassion for her students were hallmarks of her career, touching the lives of countless families within the community.
She led an active lifestyle as an avid runner and ocean swimmer. She adored her family and friends and particularly enjoyed taking her grandchildren on adventures.
Pauline is survived by her four sons, Kevin Boyle, Colin Boyle (wife Sheri), Christopher Boyle (wife Rebecca), and Brendan Boyle. She was a grandmother to Kaitlin, Jillian, Maxwell, and Harrison.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Louis F. Boyle, and her parents, Edward and Evelyn (Lanneville) Waters.
The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to the staff at Catholic Memorial Home and Accent Care Hospice for their excellent care, kindness and support.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St. Fall River..
Her funeral will take place Monday, January 6, at 9:00 AM from the funeral home with a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church, 1335 No. Main St., at 10:00 AM Private burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Forever Paws Animal Shelter, 300 Lynwood St. Fall River, MA 02721.
