Paul Silvia

Paul Silvia, 65, of Swansea, husband of Carolyn (Denmead) Silvia, died Monday, August 2, 2010 after a short illness. A Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War, he was employed in the lighting fixture manufacturing industry for 32 years. He enjoyed woodworking, sports and watching his grandson play basketball. Besides his wife of 42 years he leaves a daughter, Kim Kennedy (husband late Russell) of Fall River, 4 grandchildren, Khrystyne Turner, Jacob Paul, Kalynn, and Ryan Paul Kennedy, all of Fall River, a sister, Claudette Mello and her husband Jack of Westport and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Almond "Pat" and Mary (Mattos) Silvia. Visitation in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Please omit flowers. Burial private.
