Paul F. Silvia

Paul F. Silvia, 48, of Fall River, formerly of Somerset and Birmingham, Alabama, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, December 24, 2014. A graduate of Somerset High School and Rhode Island Trade Shop School, he owned and operated Paul's Dent Removal, Fall River and was presently employed by the US Postal Service, Providence. An avid hockey fan of the Providence and Boston teams and musician, he was a drummer in the Somerset High School Marching Band. He leaves his wife Christy (Farrell) Silvia of Birmingham; his parents, Beth S. (Berthiaume) Silvia and her spouse Modesta Levesque of Somerset and Francis "Frank" Silvia of Fall River; four children, Cole Silvia of Fall River, Amber Bass of Texas and Kayla Silvia (Dustin Calloway) and Sterling Silvia, all of Alabama; a grandson, Cody Calloway; sisters, Lori Danis (Kevin) of Westport and Amy Silvia of Fall River; stepsisters, Melanie Medeiros of North Smithfield, RI, Leslie Pereira (Dana Kohler) of East Freetown, MA and Amy Ferreira (Luis) of Fall River and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was the grandson of the late Frank and Helen (Harnett) Silvia and the late Henry and Loretta (Chouinard) Berthiaume. His funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Louis de France Church, Swansea, at 10:00 AM. Cremation to follow.
