Paul L. Pimental

Paul L. Pimental, Sr., 75, of St.Michael's Ave., Somerset, died Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at Saint Anne's Hospital, Fall River. The husband of Maria D. (Rego) Pimental, he died on their 53rd. wedding anniversary day. Born in Fall River, the son of the late Victor and Yvonne (Larrivee) Pimental, he lived in Somerset for the past 44 years. A retired Chief Petty Officer, he served in the Navy for 20 years and was then employed by Montaup Electric, Somerset, for 25 years. He was a member of the Somerset Progressive Club and enjoyed bowling, playing cards and the Foxwoods Casino. Besides his wife of 53 years, survivors include 2 sons, Paul L. Pimental, Jr. of Fall River and Robert D. Pimental and his wife Linda of Woonsocket, RI; 3 daughters, Kathleen M. Sampson and her husband Steve, Charlene St.Denis and her husband Edward and Carol Pimental, all of Fall River; a brother, Robert Pimental of Tiverton; 5 grandchildren, Paul and Patricia Pimental, Kaitlin and Matthew St.Denis and Mark DeCosta. and nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Victor Pimental, Jr. His funeral will be held Saturday at 8:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church at 9:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours, Friday 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
