Paul J. Otis

Paul J. Otis, 86, of Colonial Ave, Tiverton, husband of the late Dorothy Ann (Bassette) Otis, entered into rest Friday, February 15, 2013 at the R.I. Veterans Home, Bristol. A Navy veteran of WWII and welder, he was employed at Quonset Point, RI. A ham radio operator, he enjoyed rebuilding antique radios and fishing. Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Alvarez, a sister, Theresa Snizek of Tiverton, and several grandchildren. He was the son of the late Honorius and Marie Jeanne (Lambert) Otis and the brother of the late Robert A. Otis. His funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 AM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial, Pocasset Hill Cemetery. Visitation Monday morning prior to funeral from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Donations, in lieu of flowers, to Veterans Outreach, 755 Pine St., Fall River MA 02720 appreciated.
