Paul H. Menard, Sr.

Paul H. Menard, Sr., 73, of Fall River, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Charlton Hospital.

He was the husband of the late Judith A. (Bercier) Menard and the son of the late Jacqueline (Anctil) and Wilfred Menard.

Paul was employed by American Beauty, in Fall River, and Compton Construction, in Little Compton, where he worked as a carpenter. Paul was an Army Veteran stationed in Korea, where he served as a border patrolman, patrolling both the North and South borders.

He loved exploring his computer in the 80’s, in which he became a self taught computer genius. Paul was an avid reader of Sci-Fi novels. He was also a ticket holder of a boarding pass to a Future Mars Mission scheduled for 2026. He put up the first bulletin board in Westport, MA. Paul loved nothing more than the time he spent with his grandchildren.

Paul is survived by four children; Tara L. Menard, Leroy Menard, Paul H. Menard, Jr. (wife Dawn), and Dawne Cordeiro; grandchildren, Alexander, Jacob, Cheyenne, Paige, Courtney, Kylie, and Dylan; great-grandchildren, Liam, Zachary, and Nicholas; siblings, Patricia Isadore, Bernice Menard, Debra Cioe, Lisa Botelho. He was the brother of the late Kenneth Menard, Leon Menard, and Ronald Menard.

A visitation will be held Saturday, July 15 from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M.  with military honors being presented at 2:00 P.M. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River.
