Paul J. Mcgovern, Jr.

Paul J. McGovern, Jr. 60, of Tiverton, executive chef of McGovern's Family Restaurant, husband of Linda (Teixeira) McGovern and son of Patricia (Lincourt) McGovern and the late Paul K. McGovern, Sr., passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017.

Besides his wife of 34 years and mother, he leaves three daughters, Allendre McGovern-Siembab and her husband Christopher and grandson Brody, Kayla and Alicia McGovern; siblings, Patricia McGovern, Kathleen C. Pankowski, Thomas McGovern, Ramona McGovern and Shawn P. McGovern; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He graduated Rogers High School and was a member of the ROTC. He attended Johnson & Wales University School of Culinary Arts. He was a member of the Tiverton Lions Club and Motivated Pilgrims Investment Club. He enjoyed spending time with his family and dogs, traveling with RV, and watching his favorite team, The Patriots. Paul was a loving and supportive husband, dad and son who helped everyone in need.

His funeral will be held Wednesday, November 29, at 8:30 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Theresa Church, Tiverton, at 10:00 AM. Burial, Pocasset Hill Cemetery.

Visitation, Tuesday, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
