Paul H. Duperre

Paul H. Duperre, 70, formerly of Globe St., Fall River and Westport, died Monday, June 22, 2009. A graduate of BMC Durfee High School (1957), Bristol Community College and Southeastern Massachusetts University (1971), he served in the Army Air Defense Command and was employed by the Internal Revenue Service for 28 years. He enjoyed horse racing and dog racing. He was the brother of Pauline Copeland (companion Dennis McGee) of Somerset and Myrtle Beach, SC, Carolyn Lessa (husband late Roger) of Westport, MA and the late Gerald Duperre (wife Patricia); the uncle of Karen Copeland, Lori-Ann Lesieur, Katherine Lessa, Gerald Duperre and the late David Copeland and the son of the late Howard Duperre and Anne (Smith) Duperre Maciel. His funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a funeral mass in Good Shepherd Church, Fall River at 10:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation, Thursday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
