Paul A. Dufour

Paul A. Dufour, 83, of Suffolk St., Fall River, husband of Denise Y. (Gagnon) Dufour, died Tuesday, December 2, 2008. A graduate of Msgr. Prevost High School, he operated, with his late father, the Dufour and Son Market in the North End of Fall River and was employed by Ideal Laundry and Saint Anne's Hospital. He was past-secretary of L'Union Canadienne St. Jean Baptiste de Bowenville and a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Mathieu Parish. Besides his wife of 54 years, he leaves, 2 brothers, Roger P. Dufour and his wife Anita of Somerset and Rev. Clement E. Dufour of Fall River and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Gedeon and Albertine (Cote) Dufour and the brother of the late Yvette Proulx. His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Friday 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
