Paul E. Cote

Paul E. Cote, age 75, passed away after a courageous fight with esophageal cancer July 28, 2023,  surrounded by family.

Paul was born in Fall River, to Imelda (Turcotte) Cote and Ferdinand Ernest Cote. He was the last born of six children. He retired from San Diego Transit Authority and moved back home to live with family.

Paul loved being with family and friends. Paul loved baseball, making people smile, and anything Disney. Paul was truly a kid at heart. Paul was a very generous person and will be missed by all.

Paul was predeceased by his wife Cecelia (Bathe) Cote and his brothers Ernest and Normand Cote.  Paul is survived by his daughter Pauline Cote-Miranda (Everett), his grandchildren Ashley Miranda-Paquet (Ryan), Tyler Miranda and Shelby Miranda.  Paul is also survived by his great-granddaughter, Amelia. Paul is also survived by his 3 sisters Diane and Alice Cote and Claudette Alferos (Edward). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, August 10 at Holy Trinity Church, Stafford Road, Fall River, at 11:00 AM.  Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.

Visitation will be held prior to his mass, at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM.
