Paul A. Bedard

Paul A. Bedard, 76, of Tiverton, the husband of 53 years of Maureen (Dickinson) Bedard, passed away of Lung Cancer, Sunday, March 4, 2012. A graduate of BMC Durfee High School, Class of 1953, and Master Electrician, he was a 50 year member of Local 437 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, now Local 223. He co-owned an electrical contracting business in the 70's and was employed by electrical contractors in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He enjoyed cycling, going to the gym, the outdoors, crossword puzzles, and walking his neighbors dog "Dukey" to Coastal Roasters, where he will be sorely missed. Born in Fall River, the son of the late Albert and Diane (L'Archevesque) Bedard, he was the father of Brenda B. Cardullo (husband Thomas) of Bristol, RI, and Brian P. Bedard of Fall River; the grandfather of Elaina Cardullo, Brianna Bedard and Keith Bedard; the former father-in-law of Stephanie Bedard of Somerset; the brother of Randall Bedard (wife Jeannine) of Fall River; the brother-in-law of George H. Dickinson (wife Carol) of Somerset, and Joan Dickinson (late husband William) of CA; and also leaves nieces and nephews. His funeral mass will be held Friday at 10:00 AM in St. Christopher Church, Tiverton. Visitation Thursday 5:00 to 8:00 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Please omit flowers.
