Paul R. Allard

Paul R. Allard, 65 of Fall River, husband of 46 years, of Jeanne (Roussel) Allard, passed away Friday, September 7, 2018.

He was the son of the late Roland and Jeannette (Levesque) Allard; the father of Rachel J. Rapoza (husband Jamie) of No. Dartmouth and Matthew P. Allard (wife Keryann) of Somerset; the brother of Jacqueline J. Allard of Tiverton and Robert J. Allard (wife Mary) of Reading and the grandfather of the late Hailey A. Allard and Peyton M. Allard, Mason C. Allard and Ella S. Rapoza.

An accomplished baritone soloist for over 40 years, he studied voice with Ronald Nadeau and acquired many roles in theater groups including the Janice MacDonald Studio Theater Company and the Little Theater of Fall River where he played the role of Tevye in "Fiddler on the Roof" five times. Paul also directed several musical reviews for Newport's Trinity Church and the Little Theater. He was a member and soloist of St. Joseph Church Choir, Newport for 37 years and the director of the former Allegro Glee Club for 30 years and recently played the bass guitar in the band "Granite Rock".

His life's work was x-ray technology, his most recent employment being with Coastal Orthopaedics and Bullis Orthopaedics.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial, at 10:00 AM, Friday, September 14, at St. Joseph Church, 5 Mann Ave., Newport, RI. and committal service and interment to follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River. Please proceed directly to the church.
