Patricia Ann Sullivan

Patricia Ann Sullivan, 91, of Tiverton passed away Friday, May 3, 2024, at St.Clare, Newport.  Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of Mark A. and Hannah M. (Riley) Sullivan.

She was the sister of Geraldine L. Hall of Stow, Ohio, Mark A. Sullivan and Catherine M. Sullivan (husband Peter), all of Tiverton and the late Hannah C. Sullivan.  She was the aunt of four nieces and five nephews and also leaves many great nieces and nephews.

Pat was a graduate of the former Dominican Academy, Fall River and held a BA in French from Albertus Magnus College, an MA in French from Middlebury College and a PhD in Higher Education from Boston College.

During her early professional career, she taught French in the Gifted Child Program in the Fall River Public School Dept., at Somerset High School, and at Rhode Island College. Most of her career was in the admissions office of Rhode Island College as an admissions representative and an administrator. After her retirement, she worked diligently as a founding member of The Alliance to Preserve Tiverton’s Quality and as a member of the Conservation Committee.

The family would like to thank the staff of St. Clare Newport and Visiting Nurse Home and Hospice for their care and support.

Her Funeral Mass will be held Friday, May 10 at St. Christopher Church, Main Rd. Tiverton, at 10:00 AM.

Burial will take place in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
