Patricia A. (Calnan) Simard

Patricia A. (Calnan) Simard, RN, of Tiverton, entered into rest Sunday, August 28, 2016, her loving family by her side.

A graduate of St. Anne's Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1963, she was employed by St. Anne's Hospital, Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Center and Southpointe Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center. She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan and cherished time spent with her family.

She leaves five children, Karen LaFleur (Roger) of Fall River, Laurie Rodriques (Elliott) of Tiverton, Susan Simard of Tiverton, Steven G. Simard (Traci Almeida) of Fall River and Christine Ciabattoni (Joseph) of Tiverton; grandchildren, Justin Rodriques, Andrew Rodriques (Jade), Chelsie Simard, Daniel Garde, Breanna Simard and Jonathan Garde; a brother, John Calnan of New Bedford and nieces and nephews. She was the former wife of the late Gerald A. "Jerry" Simard and the daughter of the late John and Jane (Cafferty) Calnan.

Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Theresa Church, Tiverton at 10:00 a.m. Interment, Pocasset Hill Cemetery, Tiverton.

Visitation, Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. "Pat's family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Carolan and the staff of St. Anne's Hospital."
