Patrice A. (Root) Shaw

Patrice A. (Root) Shaw, 70, of Fall River passed away Friday, March 1, 2024 at her home. Born in Elmira, New York she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Rose (Mechalke) Root.

She was employed as an administrative assistant with Corning Glass Works. Patrice was a great lady with a contagious laugh. She enjoyed gardening and loved animals, especially her dog “Lacy”. Her greatest joy was going dancing on the weekends with her beloved companion.

Patrice is survived by her longtime companion  Michael P. Sedoma, Sr.; her sister. Connie Foster, a niece Robyn Foster and Michael’s  children, Michael P. Sedoma, Jr. and Trista Richmond (husband Michael) and their  children Elijah and Madison Richmond.

She also leaves a former husband, William Shaw; her companion’s sister, Linda Casavant and brother Ronnie Sedoma.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 17, 2024 from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River.

There will be a funeral service during the visitation at 4:30 P.M.
