Olivette Caron

April 11, 1930 — August 4, 2018

Olivette "Yvette" (Berube) Caron, 88, of Fall River, wife of the late Norman R. Caron, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018.

Yvette was a member of Jesus Mary Academy, Class of 1947, studied at Herricks Business Institute, and was employed by L. S. Chace & Sons. She also was an organist, CCD teacher, Eucharistic Minister, and Marian Medal recipient of the former St. Louis Parish.

She was a member of the Third Order of Secular Franciscans, Allegro Glee Club, Somerset Senior Chorus, The Shepherd Center, Holy Ghost Guild, and South Coast Opera Club. Yvette was a Kimwell and Crawford Nursing Home volunteer, a "Big Sister" for many years (recognized as "Big Sister of the Year"), and a Flatley Co. Humanitarian Award recipient.

She leaves four children, Richard and his spouse Laurie of Palm Harbor, FL, Paul and his spouse Cindy of Fall River, Gerry and his spouse Sheila of Needham, and Francis and his spouse James of Richmond, CA; she will be remembered fondly by her eight grandchildren, Lucas, Jesse, Nicholas, Melanie, Stacey, Charlotte, Patrick, and Michael.

Yvette was the daughter of the late Alfred and Anita (Gamache) Berube.

Her funeral mass will be held Thursday, August 9 at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Church, Fall River.
