Normand E. Tetreault, Sr.

Normand E. Tetreault,Sr.,83, of Fall River, husband of Georgette (Vanasse) Tetreault, died Sunday, December 11, 2011. A Navy veteran of WW II, he was employed by the Acushnet Company for 45 years. He was a Tiverton Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree member and bingo volunteer, a former member of Sharpshooters Drum & Bugle Corps, a former CYO Baseball coach and Little League umpire and an avid Tenpin bowler. Besides his wife of 58 years, he leaves 8 children, Denise Tavares (late husband Arthur) of Tiverton, Normand E. Tetreault, Jr. (wife Janice), Raymond Tetreault, and Jeannine Skeffington (husband Philip), all of Fall River, Richard Tetreault (wife Mhay) of Hudson, MA, Suzanne Sylvia (husband Donald) of Vilonia, AR, Russell Tetreault (wife Nadine) of North Port, FL, and Nicole King (husband Thomas) of Swansea; 15 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Lorraine DeMoranville of Dartmouth, Vivian Macedo and Conrad Tetreault, both of New Bedford, Yvette Mastrostefano of Warwick, and Paul Tetreault of Acushnet; and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Eugene and Rose Alma (Jusseaume) Tetreault. His funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Notre Dame Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Newport Memorial Park, Middletown, RI. Visitation, Thursday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Donations, in lieu of flowers, to Southcoast Visiting Nurse Assn., 200 Mill Rd., Fairhaven MA 02719 appreciated.
