Normand Lavoie

Normand Lavoie, 53, of Taunton, formerly of Fall River, died Friday, February 28, 2014 after a brief illness. He was an avid sports fan. Survivors include 2 sons, Scott and Kyle Lavoie of Fall River, his mother, Geraldine (Arruda) Coppinger of Fall River, his father, Alphonse "Roger" Lavoie and stepmother Gerda (Joncas) Lavoie of Taunton; siblings, Norma Pavao of Fall River, Paulette Chaves of Swansea and Roger Lavoie of Westport; his former wife Annette (Legault) Lavoie of Fall River and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was the stepson of the late Timothy Coppinger. Following cremation, his funeral mass will be held Saturday, March 8, at 10:30 AM at St. Nicholas of Myra Church, No. Dighton.
