Normand Leo Lambert, Sr.

Fall River

Normand Leo Lambert, Sr, 84, of Fall River, entered eternal rest on Monday, March 4, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Edward Lambert, Jr., and the late Irene (Banville) Lambert, and was predeceased by his three brothers, Donald, Richard, and Gerald Lambert. He resided in Fall River for most of his life, and he was a communicant of the former Notre Dame de Lourdes Church.

He earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and was employed by the Fall River Electric Light Company until his retirement in 1994. He enjoyed cooking and entertaining, and hosted huge birthday and holiday parties at his home. In later years he purchased a home in North Myrtle Beach, SC, and enjoyed spending the cooler months in a warmer climate.

He was the husband of the late Jeanne (Levasseur) Lambert, to whom he was married for 36 years, and is survived by four sons, Normand Jr. (Sharon) of Wilmington, NC, Michael (Riza) of Lake Havasu City, AZ, Rodney (Diane) of Fall River, and Steven of Swansea, and one daughter, Deborah (Marc) Roussel, also of Fall River.

In addition to his five children, he is also survived by his wife, Jeannine Frenette Lambert, and three stepchildren, Denise (David Balcom) and Michelle Frenette of St. Petersburg, FL, and Susan - (Jonathan) Depault of North Smithfield, RI. A fourth stepchild, Raymond Frenette, predeceased him. Normand also leaves to grieve 17 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024, at the Auclair Funeral Home from 7:45 A.M. to 9:15 A.M.

Following the visitation a Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover St, Fall River, at 10:00 A.M.

Burial at St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
