Normand Desforges

Normand Desforges, 65 of South Dartmouth, formerly of Tuttle St., Fall River died Thursday, December 30, 2010. He is the husband of Marguerite (Lopes) Desforges and son of Marie A. (Coulombe) Desforges of Fall River and the late William J. Desforges. A charter member of the Westport Chapter of the Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Owners Group, he was a career truck driver, specializing in chemical distribution, for the past 15 years. Besides his wife of 24 years, he leaves a son, Jeffrey Desforges of Westport; stepchildren-Raymond Everett, and Barbara Coppinger (husband Michael) of So. Dartmouth, Janet Everett of Taunton and Randy Everett of New Bedford; grandchildren; and a brother, Raymond Desforges of Fall River. Following cremation, a funeral service and sharing of reflections by relatives and friends will be held Sunday, January 9 at 1:00 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Visitation, Sunday prior to the service from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM. PLEASE OMIT FLOWERS.
