Normand J. Audet, 70, of Fall River, husband of Kathleen "Kathie" Audet, died Saturday, October 12, 2013. Besides his wife of 19 years, he leaves five daughters, Norma Komplin, with her husband Joseph Brost of Katy, TX, Holly Audet-Bryan of Orlando, FL, Cherie DeAngelis, with her husband Michael of Coventry, RI, Kimberly Cornwell with her husband Chip of No. Attleboro and Stacy Audet of Bristol, RI; several grandchildren and nieces and nephews; stepsons, Richard Ryan and Bobby Ryan with his wife Shinae, all of Brockton; and many step-grandchildren and one step-great granddaughter. He was the son of the late Joseph G. and Diana (Dupuis) Audet and the brother of the late Maurice, Joseph-George and Raymond Audet. He was a graduate of Westport High School and UMass Dartmouth, with a BS in Electrical Engineering. He had a lifelong passion for music, starting his own band at just 15 years old, "The Band of Gold". He played lead guitar and sang lead vocals with his beloved band for more than 50 years. He was most known for his witty sense of humor, his dashing dimples, and love and pride for his family. He will be dearly missed and forever loved. Following cremation, a Celebration of His Life will be held Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. His funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM from the funeral home with a funeral mass at St. Anne Church at 10:00 AM.
