Norman Potvin

Norman Potvin, 70, of 32 Berlin St., Fall River, formerly of Hillside Manor, died Saturday, August 5, 2006 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Teresa (Foley) Potvin. A lifelong resident of Fall River, he was the son of the late Arthur and Irene (Archambault) Potvin. He was employed by LaBerge Wrecking Co., Fall River and Delfarno Trucking, Pawtucket, RI. Besides his wife of 51 years, survivors include 3 sons, Norman Potvin, R., Gerald Potvin and Mark Potvin, all of Fall River; a daughter, Patricia Potvin of Jacksonville, Florida; 2 sisters, Noella Cadieux and Jeannette Caetano, both of Fall River; 4 brothers, Joseph A. Potvin, Raymond Potvin, Robert Potvin and Ronald E. Potvin, all of Fall River; 8 grandchildren, Shawn, Rachel, Rhonda, Kimberly, Kyle and Amanda Potvin, Stephen Wheeler and Quincy Sears; 2 great-grandchildren, Dylan Sampson and Faith Stokes and nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Robert Potvin, Dennis Potvin and Deborah Potvin. A funeral service will be held Wednesday morning at 9:00 AM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation, Tuesday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and barrier-free entrance to the rear of funeral home.
