Norman J. Joseph

Norman J. Joseph, Sr., 73, also know as Norman Bird, of Fall River, husband and best friend of Joyce (LeBlanc) Joseph, passed on to reunite with his late family on Tuesday, June 20, 2017. He was a 33 year employee of R. J. Sanders, Inc., Seekonk.

Besides his wife of 54 years, he leaves five children, Claudette Vieira, Sherry Duarte, Norman J. Joseph, Jr. (Lisa Cox), Jeanne Joseph and Kimberly Joseph and two "sons" Shawn Botelho and Michael Souza, all of Fall River; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, Vivian Bird and Eileen Souza, nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Najhiem Joseph and Bertha (O'Brien) Bird Joseph and the brother of the late Raymond Bird, Angela Coderre, Elizabeth Willette, Kate Pankow, Rita Smith, Christopher Bird, Butch Joseph, and James Bird.

His funeral will be held Friday at 8:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Anne Shrine at 9:00 AM. Interment, Oak Grove Cemetery.
