Norman T. Berube

Norman T. Berube, 89, of Highland Ave., Fall River, formerly of Riverview Towers, husband of the late Fernande (Fournier) Berube, died Friday, July 31, 2009. An Army veteran of WW II and retired upholsterer, he was employed by Alpert's Furniture. He leaves 2 sons, Paul Berube and his wife Sharon of Kingston, NH and Donald Berube and his fiancée Dale Abdow of Westport, MA; 4 grandchildren, Gregg, Aaron and Brett Berube and Jessica Chauvin; a great-grandson, Zachary Berube; a sister, Doris Thibault of Fall River and nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Mona Berube; the son of the late Raymond and Marie Anne (Lavigne) Berube and the brother of the late Donald Berube. His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Newport Memorial Park, Middletown, RI. Visitation, Tuesday morning prior to the funeral from 8:30 to 9:30 AM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
