Noreen (Mendonca) Morin

Noreen (Mendonca) Morin, 83, of Portsmouth, RI, formerly of Broadway, Fall River, widow of Edward L. Morin, died Friday, February 3, 2012. A Cherry and Webb runway model in her earlier years, she was employed by Smith Office Equipment, Garland Corp. at Fall River Knitting Mills, O'Brien's Office Supply, the Portsmouth, RI Town Hall, and I.M.S., Portsmouth, retiring in 1991. She leaves daughters, Susan Couture and her husband Dominique of Portsmouth, and Lisa Jaye Silva Furtado and her husband Roland of Rehoboth; grandchildren, Mathieu Couture (Audra), Justin Ryan Silva (Erika), and Nicholas Adam Silva; great-grandchildren, Justin Ethan Silva, Melody Lynn Silva and Bellamae Silva; a sister-in-law Lorraine Larrivee of Portsmouth; and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Manuel and Rose (Vieira) Mendonca; and the sister of the late Mary "Mamie" Texeira, Celia Oliveira, and Belmira Pacheco. Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Notre Dame Church at 9:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation, Tuesday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
