Noemia (Santos) Leite, 85, of Dartmouth, formerly of Oliver St., Fall River, widow of Francisco Linhares Ferreira, died at home, Friday, July 6, 2012, surrounded by her family. A loving mother and homemaker, she enjoyed spending time with, and cooking for, her family. She leaves 11 children, Adriana Silva (husband Abel), Duarte Ferreira (wife Lizete) and Maria Leonor Soares (husband Luis), all of Fall River, Idalina Ferreira of Dartmouth, Luis Ferreira (wife Fatima) of St. Michael Acores, Maria Karien of Barrington, RI, Joao Ferreira (wife Zulmira) of Fall River, Grace Borges (husband Norberto) of Somerset, and Dolores Fernandes (husband Jose), Noemia Ferreira, and Acacio Ferreira, all of Fall River; 17 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Born in Sé�o José, Ponta Delgada, Sé�o Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Maria Da Luz (Leite) Santos; and the sister of the late Beatris Santos Leite and Leonor Maria Pereira. Her funeral will be held Monday at 8:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church, at 9:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Sunday 3:00 to 7:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
