Nancy (Dixon) Rego

Nancy (Dixon) Rego, 78, formerly of Sherbourne Ave., Swansea, widow of George F. Rego, died Thursday, September 18, 2014. She was a former South Swansea Baptist Church clerk, choir member, bible school director and Sunday school teacher; Brownie and Girl Scout leader; Swansea Volunteer Ambulance Corps Auxiliary member and women's bible study teacher. She leaves five daughters, Cheryl Rego of Rockland, ME, Karen Rego (Rose Clark) of Cumberland, RI, Patricia Rossini (Todd) of Fairfax, VA, Anne Rego (Mike Davis) of Swansea and Kimberly Areias (Fernando) of Fall River; grandchildren, Joseph Rezendes, Kendra Thompson (Jay), Joshua and Katelyn Aubin, Jason Costa, Brandon Areias and Richard, Rayna, Shane and Nicholas Rossini; a great-grandson, Chase Rezendes and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Donna Rezendes and Rick Rego; the daughter of the late Thomas and Annie (Moffat) Dixon and the sister of the late Florence Ducharme, Elizabeth Walker and Richard Dixon. Visitation at the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. FUNERAL SERVICE DURING THE VISITATION AT 4:00 P.M.
