Nancy (Carvalho) Neronha, 72, passed away on February 12, 2025. Born on April 23, 1952, in Tiverton, Rhode Island, Nancy had a caring spirit who dedicated much of her life to helping others. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, she found immense joy in her career, often going above and beyond to bring comfort and compassion to those in her care.
She loved spending time with her husband, daughter, and two grandchildren, who were truly the apple of her eye. Their laughter and joy brought her unmeasurable happiness. Even as her health declined, Nancy's spirit remained bright, fueled by the love and joy of her family.
She held dear the memories of treasured yearly trips to the White Mountains and Conway, New Hampshire, where she created lasting bonds with her family amidst the beautiful landscapes.
Nancy is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, Benjamin J. Neronha; her daughter, Cristy Neronha, and her two granddaughters, Kaylee Neronha and Willow St. Pierre, continue to carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. She is also survived by her sister, Marilyn Soares (late husband John), her brother, William Carvalho, and his wife Maria; and nieces and nephews.
Nancy was predeceased by her loving parents, John Carvalho and Mary (Correira) Carvalho, and her brother, John Carvalho, Jr.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, February 18, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, February 19, at 9:00 AM from the funeral home, with a Funeral Mass at Saint Theresa's Church, Stafford Rd. Tiverton, at 10:00 AM.
Burial will take place at Pocasset Hill Cemetery, Main Rd. Tiverton.
