MSgt., Rene "Ace" Goyette, USAF (Ret.), 63, of Las Vegas, NV, formerly of Fall River, MA and Billerica, MA, husband of Monica L. (Allen) Goyette, died Friday, September 7, 2007. The son of the late Wilfred C. Goyette and Emma (Gagnon) Goyette Rancourt, and Vietnam Veteran, he served in the Air Force for 23 years and then was contract manager for Tishman Construction Corp., Boston and Las Vegas. He enjoyed bowling. Besides his wife of 40 years, he is survived by daughters, Marcy Goyette and her husband John Dickensheets of Saline, Michigan and Stephanie Herlihy and her husband David of Billerica; grandchildren, Spencer Dickensheets and Collin, Bryce and Shane Herlihy; siblings, Robert Goyette and his wife Pauline of Lake Oswego, OR and Terry Rancourt and her partner Sue Sheppard of Swansea; step-siblings, Edward and Albert Rancourt of Clearwater, FL, Norman Rancourt of Manchester, CT, Laurent Rancourt of Little Compton, RI, Paul Rancourt of Conway, NC and Jeannette Wolf of Tampa, FL and aunts, uncles, a niece and a nephew. He was the stepbrother of the late Claire Torpey and Maurice, Robert and Leo Rancourt. His funeral will be held Friday at 10:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Trinity Church at 11:00 AM. Burial, Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Visitation, Thursday 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
