Morel Menard

Morel J. Menard, 82, of Fall River, husband of 61 years of Anita (Croteau) Menard, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018.

He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and an employee of the Raytheon Company, Portsmouth, RI and Boston Gear. A scoutmaster for 25 years, he was a member of the Order of the Arrow.

He was the father of Susan Parker (husband Henry) of Swansea, the late Carleen Roderick (husband Ken of Wareham), Morel Menard, Jr. of Fall River, Michelle Wray of South Dartmouth, Philip Menard (wife Barbara) of New Hampshire, Paul Menard of Fall River and Nicole Lipeles (husband Brett) of Arizona; the grandfather of Eric Castro (wife Jennifer), Matthew, Tina and Sabrina Menard, Rochelle Wray, Sarah and Rivkah .Lipeles, Katherine Davis (Andrew) and Jessica, Kayla and Tyler Menard; the great-grandfather of Katherine Castro, Jacob Menard and Hayden Wray; the brother of Joyce Ann Riley of Fall River and Normand Maynard (wife Eileen) of RI and the son of the late Joseph and Marjorie (Guinen) Maynard.

His funeral service will be held Wednesday at 9:00 AM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Interment, Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.

Visitation, Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
