Mildred Mary (Rogers) Wheelock

Mildred Mary (Rogers) Wheelock, 92, formerly of Davol St., Fall River, Tiverton and Westport, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009. She was the widow of Major W. Wheelock, to whom she had been married for 63 years at the time of his death in 1999. She was employed for many years in the dress manufacturing industry as a quality inspector. An avid card player she cherished spending time with her family. She leaves 2 children, Major W. Wheelock and his companion Jean Enos of Harrisville, NH and Bonita Springs, FL and Shirley Mills and her husband "Buzzy" of Fall River; 4 grandchildren, Geoffrey (Christine) and Lori Mills, Major (Sandi) and Frank (Rita) Wheelock; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ann Dunkelberger of Nebraska and Richard Rogers of Portsmouth, RI and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Frank N. Wheelock, the grandmother of the late Nancy B. Wheelock; the daughter of the late James and Margaret (McCabe) Rogers and the sister of the late James, Earl, Paul, Edward and Milton Rogers. Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Saturday morning prior to the funeral from 8:00 to 9:30 AM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
