Miguel Cordeiro, 38, of Kellogg St., Fall River, husband of Emily (Cordeiro) Cordeiro, died Friday, January 27, 2012. Born in Feteiras do Sul, Sao Miguel, Azores, the son of Gilda (dos Santos) Cordeiro of Sao Miguel and the late Gilbert Cordeiro, he emigrated to Fall River in January of 1997. A member of Santo Christo Parish, he was a construction worker for John Gouveia Construction; a bartender at the Our Lady of Light Band Club where he was a member of the Holy Ghost; and was last employed by Aguiar Landscaping. Besides his wife of 15 years and mother, he leaves a daughter, Brittney Cordeiro of Fall River; siblings, Paula, Joe, Gilberto, Carlos and Paul Jorge Cordeiro, all of Sao Miguel. He was the son-in-law of Jose and Maria Cordeiro of Fall River, the brother-in-law of Sandra Cordeiro (fiancé Richard Mollinedo) of Randolph, and Ann Fonseca (fiancé Alex Pesantez) of Fall River and the uncle of Eddie and Alethea Fonseca and William Wrightington of Fall River, and Madison and Isbella Mollinedo of Randolph, and also leaves nieces and nephews in Sao Miguel. His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Santo Christo Church at 10:30 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation, Monday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
