Michael H. Swist

Michael H. Swist, 58, of Fall River, died Wednesday, March 1, 2006. Born in Newport, Rhode Island, the son of Helen (Silvia) Swist of Fall River and the late Henry "Hank" Swist, he lived in Fall River most of his life. A former Air Force sergeant and avid horseshoe player, he was a member of the East End Sportsman's Club and the Fall River Lodge of Elks. Besides his mother survivors include a son, Keith T. Swist of Port Charlotte, Florida; 2 daughters, Jessica Swist and Amanda Swist, both of Fall River; 3 sisters, Carol Little of Thomaston, Maine, Mary Clement of Somerset and Susan Kosinski of Swansea; a brother, David Swist of Portsmouth, Rhode Island and nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Trinity Church, 959 Stafford Rd. at 11:00 AM.
