Michael D. Croteau, 41, of Durfee St., Fall River, died Thursday, September 28, 2006 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence affecting the lives of 7 people as an organ donor.
He was the husband of Tammy L. (DeMello) Croteau.
Born in Fall River, the son of Harvey Croteau of Fall River and Judith (Morango) Croteau, also of Fall River, he lived in Waltham for 15 years and in Fall River most of his life.
He was employed by the Coca Cola Bottling Co., Needham and Braintree.
A former member of the Newton Knights of Columbus, he enjoyed fishing and time spent with friends and family, cherishing his granddaughter.
Besides his wife of 20 years, he is survived by
a daughter, Alicia Desrosiers and her husband Moussa Balzourt of Fall River;
a son, Michael Croteau of Fall River;
a granddaughter, LeAziah Balzourt of Fall River;
3 brothers, Kevin Croteau and his companion Maria Pacheco and Thomas Croteau, all of Fall River and Russell Croteau and his companion Deborah Manchester of Tiverton;
his mother-in-law, Diane Bousquet of Acushnet;
4 sisters-in-law, Terri Lee of Colorado, Annette Rioux and her husband Steven and Janice DeMello, all of Fall River and Corinne Oliveira and her husband Edward of Florida;
aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Robert Croteau.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Notre Dame Church at 10:30 AM.
Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
Visitation, Tuesday 5:00 to 9:00 PM.
LARGE PARKING AREA and barrier-free entrance located at the rear of funeral home.
