Michael A. Cambrola

Michael A. Cambrola, 79, of Emmett St., Fall River, husband of Claudette (Caron) Cambrola, died Sunday, October 12, 2008.
He was a Fall River Police Officer for 30 years and a member of the Massachusetts Police Assn. A Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War and member of the "The Chosin Few" a.k.a "The Frozen Chosin", he engaged in the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir.
A Warren, RI native, he lived in Fall River for the past 54 years. He enjoyed motor home traveling.
Besides his wife of 54 years, he leaves, 3 children, Alan Cambrola of Fall River, Michelle LeBeau of Auburn, MA and Brian Cambrola and his wife Joanne of Milford, MA; grandchildren, Emily LeBeau and Brendan, Kevin and Daniel Cambrola; brothers, Anthony and Howard Cambrola, both of Warren and nieces and nephews.
He was the son of the late Joseph and Cora (Bullock) Cambrola and the brother of the late Norma Wetherall and Joseph and Henry Cambrola.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 12:00 noon in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Cremation to follow.
Visitation, Wednesday morning prior to the funeral from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Please omit flowers. Donations may be made to Diabetes Assn., PO Box 1525, Fall River MA 02722.
